Hello all!!!
I have been offered a 6-month contract position in Beijing.
The contract is with a British Language school who have an exchange programme in terms of teachers being sent to Beijing to work so I will be paid into my British bank system; I will be paying taxes in the UK as well, but physically working and planning lessons in Beijing.
They have said because of this I can work legally in Beijing on an M visa and they have been doing this for the previous 3 years in sending teachers their to teach.
The language school being in London and reputable gives me more confidence to believe them but as always, you have to ask questions with these kind of things.
I will try and get through to the Chinese Embassy tomorrow to check this; but other than that, anyone else on here have an inkling or indication if this is legal or not?
Due to my personal circumstances I'm not really willing looking for a year long contract at the moment so this is for all intents and purposes an ideal job offer. |
