I have been offered a new teaching job in China. The school said I can choose from Beijing or Shanghai. What are the pros and cons of each?

The weather is a big factor. Beijing's air is very dry, and my skin reacted. Shanghai has more humidity, is not as cold in winter [but is still cold], but is sticky and unpleasant in summer.
BJ has history and more to see. SH is mostly new, but has the better shopping.
Food: Great in both.
Cost of living: My impression is of SH being more expensive, but compare the salaries first.
The bottom line? I love SH, and have been here 3 years. However, my time in BJ told me I'd love it there too, climate aside.
