I keep seeing on websites that Kazakhstan ESL salaries can range from $1-5k. However, every position I have come across is in the $1200 range.

I taught in Vietnam for a year at a TEFL kindergarten and am currently finishing a year contract in Saudi Arabia. I was hoping to make a lateral move with the salary to Kazakhstan or China.

Are there any Kazakhstan specific ESL websites I should check out or times of year that are better to apply? Am I being naive in looking for a salary around 3k in Kazakhstan?
