Asking for a friend:

Does anyone know when a school applies for visa and you get rejected, does the same school need to cancel/withdraw the application or it will expire after some time? He found a new school, but the old school is blocking the application.

Few semi-reliable sources told him that the rejected application will stay forever in the system and he wouldn't be able to find another employer until the former one removes the application.

After not being successful the first time, the employer applied for his visa in another province through their partner school without his knowledge
