I'll be turning 60 in two months.
I realize in the UAE, you can work till 65.
Any other place? How can I beat the age bias and restrictions? |

The fact that you can work till 65 doesn’t mean that you can get hired when you are, say, 60 years old. Most countries have a different age requirement for new hires. For example, if you are 55 or older, you cannot (normally) get hired in Saudi. But if you get in before you turn 55, then you can stay until you are in your late 60s or even early 70s. |

I used to hear that SQU accepted "older" applicants, but at 57, I was just turned down despite years of tertiary experience in the Gulf. |
