Hi Forum

Trying to find a cheap flight out of here for a week or so in August ,just to get away from the heat ,destination somewhere cool,its got to be the UK.
So, I hear you say easy ,ok WHERE do I go to book a cheapish flight from Izmir or "thebull" arriving literally ANYWHERE in the UK at anytime of the day ? Answers on a postcard please or send a pm . Much obliged .

As we all know, Izmir is excluded from most cheap flight deals. You could try for flights out of Bodrum; tour reps in Kusadasi; or haunt Adnan Menderez day and night till something comes up. Good luck! I'm biting the bullet and flying out on a scheduled flight (but I booked it a while ago so it's not too painful) on Sunday.

There are EXTREMELY cheap flights offered to Amsterdam, Lille etc. What about taking one of them and then going on Eurostar or cheap-cheap flight from there?

I love Turkey in the summer but must admit to also looking forward to a couple of weeks of cool weather. Iyi tatiler herkeze!!!

Once again you prove to be a fountain of knowledge ,I shall try a cheap hop over to Amsterdam,do you know anyone who has tried backpacker travel as advertised in the TDN ? Return flights are quoted as 105 sterling to London , does that sound cheap ?
