So, this is my suggestion for 'thread title most likely to result in 100 pages of flames'.

Any other suggestions? Maybe we can make a top 10? Very Happy

I got two:

1. Canada: Living in America's shadow.

2. Australia: The small island off the coast of New Zealand.

I think we could spice up the first one by including something in the first post that discusses how America should invade them where the invasion would begin and end by America faxing them an eviction notice.

P.S. Hmm, maybe even just an SMS would do...

How about "Children As Baggage" I recall taking some serious flames for that facetious remark a couple of months ago - though it seemed/s pretty innocuous to me..................

You've all seen that thingy for generating postcards? They use it as a teaching exercise sometimes? Or the computer that generates psychoanalytical comments to a patient (Hm, that's very interesting. How does that relate to your mother?)

We need a computer program to generate responses in a thread. Give it an OP, then wind it up and let it go. Put a time lag in it and let real people occasionally input a post.

Include one of those web search thingys (spider, bot?) so it could look things up and post websites. Include a list of everybody's favorite phrases (I don't think you understood what I was saying, That's quite an assumption to make, Where did I say that, etc.) And, of course a spell/grammar checker (enabled only for reading previous posts).

Hey, that reminds me of some possible titles for really SHORT threads:

Great Canadians In History

Canada's Notable Achievements

Canadian Wit and Wisdom

Fine Canadian Cuisine

Canada's Contributions to World Culture

Anything with 'American' in the title seems strangely popular.

Is that American thread any good? And why is 'defence' spelt with an 's'? What's that all about?

I got sucked into it for a while, and there are some interesting things there, but you're probably better off without it.

Nice avatar.

' Honest opinions & observations of China '

A tried & tested thread which will be followed with the inevitable 'if you don't like it you should go home'

'I've never taught or traveled before, can anyone please tell me where I should work & who I should work for, I am looking for the highest salary and shortest hours possible '

Usually followed by lot of posts demanding the OP do a search

' Anything to do with EF '

Always lots to talk about there

'Anything to do with dating - goes down like a sh*t sandwich on the Japanese forum'

As stated, not popular on the Japanese forum, incredibly popular on the Chinese forum & not mentioned on the Indonesian forum - draw your own conclusions about tha one!
