I worked and lived in LaPiedad for three months before requesting a transfer (which I was granted). To make a short story shorter - I would NOT want to live in the town again. With the exception of a few individuals, I found the whole experience absolutely disheartening. IT SMELLS like pig %*&# most of the time. People in other parts of the state say "LaPiedad smells like %*&#, the people in LaPiedad say "no, it smells like money"
In regards to the school, I am not familiar with them. They weren't in operation while I was there. The school I worked for closed their branch there shortly after I left (March 2003)
The rest of the state is very nice though. |
