Hi, I'm an American teaching English in China. I have an unrelated degree, a TESOL Cert, and about four years of experience teaching now. I know Tijuana isn't well thought of, but I kind of like the good restaurants and the proximity to San Diego. My question is--can I make a living there? I'm an older guy, but in excellent health with plenty of energy. I'm also a serious teacher, or at least I can say I'm serious about teaching! Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

I should also say that I speak some Spanish (about 3000 words, I guess.) |

Tijuana has a fair number of language schools, if you're interested in that kind of work. Harmon Hall is there. I have indicated pluses and minuses of working for HH on previous threads, so will not repeat those here. |
