I wanted to share my advanture with you and ask for your advice.
Not long ago, I posted a message asking for information about entering to turkey after i overstayed..
I am writing this message from the athens airport.
When I arrived at turkey, I was located as someone who overstayed.
I was taken to a small room where I had to communicate in my mininal turkish to security officers who were supposed to be between me and the police.
I was supposely taken care by a turkish airline officer who's duty was to make sure I am ok, not hungry, can make phone calls, etc.
However, I was mistreated and had to phone to his room through the one phone card i had to his next door office begging for him to come so we can talk.
I had 10 officers telling me 20 different things in less then a night.
I ate 2 meals.
And Turkish airlines miswritten my flight tickets, almost forced me to go back to New York (when I wanted to fly somewhere else closer)
But I did saw my girlfriend for a minute, in a year time.
The only thing I understood clearly was that if I get a business visa
I will be able to get inside immidiatly
If there is anybody who knows what should I do, I'll appriciate |

Good luck, my friend. Once you're on one of those "lists," it's hard to get off. You should have applied for a visa in New York to avoid the problems that greeted you. |

I had an opposite eperience this week. I arrived on April the 16th and went out the country on Friday(the 16th) I was told I should have left on the 15th. I was taken off to a small room. The other official was quite pleasant and sorted me out without paying a fine! |

But you haven't tried to go back yet. I suggest you get a visa from the local consulate/embassy instead of trying at the airport or you might have the same troubles as the originator of this string of posts. |

Did you mean coming back into Turkey? If so I had no problems whatsoever.
Now where to go for the next visa run |
