It's not exactly a 'newbie' question, just an query for Dave. I know there's plenty of EFL movement over there and maybe a forum could be set up ? Or if not, why not ? |

I'm just curious: Since when do Irish people not know how to speak English? |

Well, they all talk funny over there don't they?
Seriously though, speaking English is no reason for a country not to have a board. USA and UK both have boards. |

There is no USA board, it is a North America forum. I'll bet the majority of posts there are from Cdns or about Canada. The NA forum is pretty dead anyways. No one cares much about ESL teaching here and ESL teachers rarely frequent Dave's. |

I heard Dave wanted to set one up, but the unionists refused to share it with the republicans. |

Thanks, Gordon. I didn't really 'go' anywhere - I've just been taking a much-needed break which I do from time to time. Didja miss me?
I'll post something on the NA forum first chance I get, I promise. Perhaps what we need is a little controversy over there to get the ball rolling. |

I've always wondered why the Teacher Discussion forums include a forum specifically for Texas ESL Teachers, but not for any other area of any country. |
