Sheen International was at my university's career fair recruiting students to teach English in China.
I re-read their information sheet and pamphlet recently, and based on all the information I've gathered, they seem like a recruitment agency. When I e-mailed them looking for a job, the person replied that she will send my resume and information to schools in China.
The pamphlet says that they are government recognised and stuff...
Anyway, I just want to know:
1) if they are a recruitment agency
2) the fact that they are recognised by the Chinese gov't, does that make them more reliable
3) the fact that they were invited by my university to set up a booth, does that make them more reliable
4) has anyone heard of them??
Thanks!!

Hi Kat,
I know that Sheen is an agency. That's all I can tell you. I came here looking for answers too! I wonder if anybody else has taken a job offer with them!???!? |

Well, I called them more than a few months ago. The person gave me the information of a school who said they'd be interested in hiring me. Their description asked for a whole bunch of characteristics that don't apply to me, but the person said they're interested anyway.
Nevertheless, the city was too far away from HK, so I politely declined. The person never wrote back again, even after a few e-mails and requests.
Oh well, I found my own job.
Good luck with yours!
