it would be helpful if you could provide more details as to what you like/dislike and what you're looking for... China is a pretty darn big place and not everyone likes everything....

OK ---I like Zhejiang province...This is known as the "California" of China for it's pretty women.

Some vibrant cities...Nice scenic areas---a few anyway,,and it's all pretty close to Shanghai..

Hailar, Inner Mongolia is a great place to be if you're not too fond of Hohhot and would like an "experience".

SW China is by far the best place to stay in China due to the cost of living is much cheaper then the rest of China and the teacher salaries are about the same as the rest of China. Also the weather is not to hot in the summer or to cold in the winter. The food in the west is also the best in China in my opinion. Cool
