Does anyone know if the Japanese Government has passed any laws recently regarding the National Health Insurance not being available for foreigners who are living here for only 1 year or so? �If you have any information please post it here. �Thank you.

Posted from another thread by someone who says foreigners can now not sign up for NHI as they are quitting in droves after the first year when premiums are cheap.
