If you're a 41 year old American guy with a bachelors degree and who taught English conversation informally in Japan for a year while in college, and you want save as much money as possible after paying living expenses, which of these countries would be best?

What are the best jobs in these countries, and what further education or qualifications should I be considering?

What other factors should I consider in choosing between these countries?

Thanks a lot

I can only speak about teaching in japan, but the best jobs and incomes are teaching in universities, for which you need a Masters degree. Starting salaries on a low-level full time position are 4.5 -5 million yen p.a..

Downside is university jobs are disappearing (conversation school wages are going down too) or being contracted out to dispatch companies. Full time college jobs get harder to get over the age of 40. I'm 41 now and feeling the pinch. No future really in teaching at a conversation school here, especially at your age, IMHO.

I think that in Korea and Taiwan, you just need a college degree, some schools may want experience. Try applying and see what you get.

Correct, as long as you have the white face, you'll be as good as gold to them.

I just isolated the main factor for you. All others are secondary.
Go to Korea if you want to be able to support yourself.
