Hi! I am very interested in coming to Poland this fall. I have taught a year and a half in South Korea and am ready to teach elsewhere. I have contacted some schools but they seem to hesitate hiring Canadians due to new EU regulations. The directors prefer to hire Europeans. I have a Bachelor's degree in the Arts, a TESL Certificate and some experience. Is it very difficult to obtain an entry type position? One teacher has told me I could stay here for a period of almost 90 days and then go to the Czech Republic for a visa run. I don't necessarily have to go back to Canada to get a visa from the Polish Embassy.
Could someone tell me if Canadians are having difficulties obtaining jobs in Poland? Is the situation for jobs strong enough, that I could risk going to Poland for a month, without a job already waiting for me.
I appreciate your help.
Kindly,
Bob |
