| Hey guy, I think you're ready for a short hop down to the Philippines where you can completely drop out for a while and let it all fade away. I'm not talking about the girlie bars, I mean the slowed-down pace and quiet out in the La Union countryside where it all drops away. I know some really cheap, beautiful, quiet places on the beach where you can live for $10/day and totally recharge. Cheaper if you rent by the week or month. Give me an email-- [email protected]. I hope to be back there in a month, possibly 2 max. after I finalize things here in L.A............ |

It is human nature to criticize others. The Internet is faceless and nameless making it too easy to do so. When you meet those same people in the real world they are the nicest people. One of the most obnoxious posters on this board buys me a beer whenever we meet and is really good people.
You sound like you need a visa run. Take a week off and fly out to Thailand, world renown culture and hospitality.

Agreed. TDN (ThreeDogNight) was banned from the Korean forums after repeatedly threatening some of the posters there with physical violence when they disagreed with him.
Do a search for ThreeDogNight on the Korean forums and read some of his "poetry". Serously 3DN, I think that you need to take a break from Asia. For quite a while. Before someone gets hurt. |

AKATDN, The other posters seem to know your history somehow but I'm just wondering how many weeks have you been living in Taipei now? You were in Korea before, apparently, for how long?
Perhaps Asia is not the place for you. That doesn't make you a loser or anything. And people who've adjusted to the culture, can speak Chinese and even enjoy it here aren't necessarily "babel-believers" suffering from "hyper-yuppism" who think "speaking fluent Chinese is what makes you a real expat here," as you mentioned in other posts.
About getting fired from a kindy (which is pretty difficult for most people), you said: It goes on. Sometimes, yeah, I get pretty angry. Looked this homely *beep* in the eye, ready to kick her in the cooount. This other beehive ass of a woman bending(Watch out for women that bend) named "Charlene"(What a bogus name,) might've been better off butt-f#$#cked by my impotent *beep*, Mr. Strange Love.
Sounds like you've got a lot of built-up anger and violent fantasies against people who don't change their way of doing things just because YOU have arrived in Taipei. And I don't even know what to say about your insistence on referring to the local women as "squaws."
I highly doubt a vacation in southeast Asia will do anything to change your attitude, because having lived there myself, I can say that the things bothering you about Taiwan can be worse down there in many ways. Perhaps you should try going back to Texas for awhile, where you'll be in your element and able to understand where people are coming from. Maybe after a while, you'll remember why you wanted to leave. Maybe try Eastern Europe next. I dunnoo....just my HO. |

Just had to get a word in here edgewise. Your Korean forum was crap. That's probably why you're trolling this one, leading me on? I think you need to take a course of meditation on forum courtesy.
I don't pass your boundaries, but if you want to pull the same crap you did over there, then give my posts away as evidence I'm wrong, what can a man do? Get violent?!!

I'm not pent up. I know what Asia's all about. I sit here and stare at a static screen, viewing scrolls of topics I'd like to move with a few jarring comments, that's all. Because I escaped your mentality, and now that I'm down, you've got to sing the S.O.S.!
