| Hello, I'll be going to Japan for 3 months and was wondering how accessible the sports scene will be. I don't know where I'll be going yet, but I just wanted to get a general picture of what to do as far as athletics are concerned. I'm really interested in tennis and swimming. How cheap is it? How easy it is to find a tennis partner? How are the swimming pools? Thanks for any info! |

| I'm not into swimming or tennis, but if others are, it would help them to know what part of Japan you plan to be in. |

Sports thrive in Japan but you really have to go looking for them to find them. (Pro teams don't advertise all that much in Japan so you really have to seek them out on the internet and what not.)
