hello
i am a 26 years old israeli citizen who grew up in toronto canada.
after travelling in china a few years ago i decided i want to return in order to learn chinese. i thought of tring to combine both learning chinese and teaching english.
i am looking for places to teach english ,i would prefer a small city with out a large english speaking community.
i am also looking for information regarding renting an appartment in smaller chinese cities (costs, legal matters and so).
thank

Why should you bother to think about paying RENT if you come to China sas a teacher? Any employer must by law house you, except in Hong Kong, Macau and to some extent, in Shanghai.
Besides, you must be employed by a public school in order to benefit from the offer of free Chinese lessons (which I have never received in many years...). You cannot, legally, combine a status as a student with that of an employee. You qualify for one or for the other ('X' visa or "Z" visa). |
