I know of some funny plays on words that sometimes rely on a mix-and-match of English and Japanese words and meanings.

Examples:

Take "Homo" (Japanese and English for "Gay") and the "dachi" from "tomodachi" to get "HOMODACHI" - gay friend.

If you're with someone looking for the "Hai Chu" candy chews - anybody know them? Stand on your tip toes and purse your lips, demanding a kiss. The "high" from English and "Chu" from Japanese (meaning "kiss") and you have High Chu - High Kiss.
e.g. Friend: Hai Chu wa doko?
You: Koko desu! "High Chu!!!"

An imaginary conversation:
a: Sumimasen, kono hen ni sumimasuka?
b: Iie, sumimasen.

Can't remember any others off the top of my head. Nevertheless, I'd get a chorus of "Samui!!" whenever I told one of these. Ah, good fun.

So I was wondering if anyone knew of any others?

Think about this one before going to bed:

The same thing you say before going to bed is in fact said after you have eaten all the tofu, seaweed, and clams found in Miso Soup.

"Guu nai"
