What are the chances of finding a job that has reasonable conditions outside of Athens and Salonika ? I had thought of Alexandropolis. |

Just about every small town in Greece has at least one school that hires native speakers to teach English. Conditions tend to be better than in the big cities and the salary is comparable taking into account the cheaper cost of living.
The only areas where you might have difficulty are in the popular tourist resorts where there tend to be a few people who met a native while on holiday and moved there permanently, such as Corfu or Rhodes.
Alexandroupoli doesn't have any problems like this. To be honest the only people I know who have gone there have been forced to do so by the army. In which case getting a job should be easy.
Try looking in the Greek Yellow Pages online at http://www.xo.gr/en/index.jsp and you will find a couple of pages of Language Schools. Are they reputable, well you will have to trust your nose on this. |
