If offered a job in Qatar, what are the requirements for documentation - I have attested copies of all my certificates etc which ahve been accepted in Kuwait, Oman, UAE etc - will these suffice in Qatar?
Also thinking forward - if you leave a company (work the required notice period as per contract etc) - is there a requirement for a Release Letter?

| As far as I know, you need a release letter if, for example your contract is a one year contract...since you'd still be under the company's sponsorship for 2 years, they need to release you....sounds strange, but happened to me, and other people I know. Usually companies are pretty good at giving you this letter, but some have known to be nasty. |

I'm pleased to know this - I got caught out in my first ME posting because of the release requirements - had a new job arranged, did my 2 year contract - but then my old company would not give me the release.
Sad ending to this story - ended up in Kuwait........ |
