Hey everybody,
Im enjoying my first year teaching in Mexico. Im planning on going to San Miguel de Allende, with three other American teachers at the school for Mexican Independence. Ill need the vacation. We all have to dress up in a traditional Mexican outfits for the Independence celeration at our school, and we have to bake some kind a dessert to sell at some kind of party they are having that sounds like the name Miss Piggy used to call Kermit the frog, Kermie, or something like that. Anyhow, what are you guys planning on doing for Mexican Independence, wouldnt it be fun to have a reunion of sorts of English teachers in San Miguel. |

Yep, that's it. Kermesse...a fancy way (French, I think.) of saying "bake sale" or "fund raiser." Most schools have at least one a year. |
