I'm working in Peru and am trying to have my students email in English to advanced English speakers or native speakers. I don't know if anyone has any students like this or if you yourself are interested. I was thinking that my students could email in English and you or your students could email in Spanish (if you want to practise your Spanish skills) or in English.
Anyways, if you are interested, PM me or email me. |

I'm afraid I can't help you out with advanced students, but I'm also looking for penpals (and therefore thought I might as well advertise on this thread!!)
My students are 11/12 years old, and their level is approximately Intermediate to higher (I haven't started teaching them yet, so I can't be sure!!) I'm hoping to set up a penpal scheme with similar students, from anywhere in the world... They don't have an awful lot of time with me, so I'd set them homeworks to write letters and then I'd send them off to relevant places....
If anyone has any suitable students, please get in touch!!!! |

Try www.epals.com I used it for my Primary School students in China to connect with some Aussie kids. It worked really well. |

I have a teacher friend back in the states who teaches 6th grade. Last year, she and I did a penpal exchange program. My students made Christmas cards and wrote their letters inside and then we sent little Chinese gifts. Well, her students were just thrilled and they sent back a wonderful package of letters, cards, candies, and other assorted goodies. We managed to exchange a couple of times before the school term ended. Her current 6th graders are in the process of writing their first letters here and I am hoping to get them within a couple of weeks. I think they are making Halloween-themed letters so that will be cool. We'll respond with something again for Christmas. |
