				| Volgograd, not volgagrad. of course this is transliteration and blah di blah but that's the standard transliteration. Telling you to help with your internet searches, not because I'm a pedant. Honest guv.

Why are you going there? I didn't quite understand.

				| Hello, Will.
VOLGOGRAD sounds like volgAgrad. Even vAlgAgrad.

There are only two language schools with native speakers.

As for feedback youd better go The Bar named White Horse. There youll definitely find all foreigners and teachers as well. The best place to drink and talk. Live music. www.whitehorse.vlink.ru. Unfortunately this site is only in Russian, but there are cool pics.

Population of the city is about one million.
But its pretty boring. Not like Moscow.
I mean even if you were to visit Moscow places every weekend, there would still be many you had not seen even after a nine-month stay here.
About Tsaritsyn / Stalingrad / Volgograd I wouldnt say that.
 But it depends on personality.
 Some teachers love small towns.

 A bit of history http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volgograd

 Good Luck!

P.S. thats from my old Volgorgad friends:
 Dear Friends!
I am very glad to introduce you official web site of International videoart Festival in Volgograd "VIDEOLOGIA". Call for participients!

				| Thanks for the info, this is the useful stuff. Castro, I have to do a seminar or two shortly. so I am checking out the scene in advance rather than asking people on arrival. I only have a few days there.

				| Will, few days there for the seminar and few nights there for White Horse parties Its enough to get an idea what Volgograd is like for foreigners.

 BTW, what kind of seminar?
Keep in touch while you are there
 or right after.

 Good Luck.
