Hello,

I'm in the film business here in Tokyo and I'm helping out on a movie currently in production to cast foreigners in the roles of a 4-man Ramones-esque punk rock band. They are looking for two more people to fill out the band:

a. Shortish and chubby
b. Tall and lanky (think Joey Ramone)

The look is important, but more important are the following points:

1. You can travel to Takasaki City on the evening/night of Wednesday, September 22nd. It takes approximately 1h40m from Tokyo (depending on where you're coming from -- detailed directions will be provided). You will stay overnight in the hotel where the crew is, up bright and early for shooting the next day. There's no set time for finishing the next day, but it will be a one day shoot only for these parts.

2. Your transportation costs will be covered, and *most likely* a small payment for your time. A credit in the film should also not be a problem (I will confirm that).

3. Japanese ability would be a benefit, but isn't a requirement.

The director, Nobuhiro Yamashita, is one of Japan's hottest up-and-coming young directors, and his films have done well at many international film festivals. His films are screened in cinemas across Japan.

I was an actor in Sydney before coming to Japan to teach English and will actually be signing up with an acting agency next month. I don't fit your descriptions, but if you ever need a hand, let me know!
