Geesh, I know you're going to say it. But today I wake up with a swollen eye(don'g know how I got it,) and the nurse at the hosptial told me I hae a blood clot!!! Don't know what to say.

I've never had a blood clot. Said I had passed out. Now I can't fly out of Taiwan, not to Japan, no where. Feel like a punching bag, blue-red and bruised. ANyone else here ever have bloodclots!?

I guess i'm at the computer foom now-better than sitting at home. Still can't see out of my left eye. How it happened is beyond me, unless i fell downor got jumped. No Chinese involved, that's for sure. I once wiped out on a bike at the age of 13, but that was an accident. THis one's just a ghost, like a cold hit me and I drank too much rum to shake off.

Just floating now, letting my concsious go. I can't leave now, nor do I want to. AIT said it was all right but. . .Not working and all due to the liars at workd. . .must've made something happend.

Well, as I am sure that a lot of us predicted, AKATDN's head has finally exploded, and his brain turned to mush.

It is a bit of a shame really. These people who come to boards like Daves with all this negativity about Taiwan, make all these claims about how terrible it is here, and then fail to back these claims up with anything of any substance. It would actually be good to get a bit of balance on the board. But lets hope that the next inductee to Taiwan bashing has a bit more staying power, and sense enough to write something that everyone can understand.

Oh, WOmbat, likd it was meant to happen. That's why I posted it. TO lead yo on and all.

I siad ai didn't know how it happened. A lot of negativity, no. JUst a lot of emotion contary to you positivism ai sense here. PLus, it'd doing asway. Musti've happende accidentally, likd this forum.

I have a lot of negativity against Taiwan, as a teacher. Doens't mean I[m irate agians the CHinese. I'm irate as a worker. TO speak of negativity when it comes to othe nations and races seems to be a mere diatribe compared to your comments, and something I can't ascrivbe to.

My HEAD IS MUSHY, BUT HEARD, LIKD A ROCK.

Is it around the eye or actually on the eye? If its on the eye you may want to read this;

The number one cause is straining too hard on the toilet.
