And where do you come from, then? Some crud hole north of London I suppose (i.e., the grim 'North')? (And, yes, I think everything north of London constitutes 'the North'.) I like to work in places such as the place I am presently employed. Here, in order to secure employment, one must evince a Sussex British accent.
Anyway, many happy returns to you, 'Mark-O'. |

Actually, he is originally from Australia. Hence my southern softy line. |

Dear all,
Many thanks for the birthday wishes - I am flattered!
My birthday wasn't spent at the pub or likewise in usual fashion, but was spent at a Key Stage 2/3 adventure camp of 700 screaming kids in sunny Weymouth of all places (in keeping with the 'southern' theme!). Supervising thirty P5 and P6 kids around the clock for a week of 14-hour days isn't one's usual definition of fun! But nonetheless, it was a valuable experience, and one that I am likely to be recovering from for the next week or so (despite having to start my PGCE course this coming week!).
Thanks again.
Yours elderly,
Mark-O |

So glad to hear you survived. Even though you are a person of small stature (if your avatar is actually you), I am sure they looked up to you. |
