Currently employed, but only through this week, as I will go to the US next month to give some presentations about US interventionism in Latin America and work against the re-election of the Cross-Eyed Cretin. (No I have nothing against special needs folks--just don't think they should be given nuclear weapons to play with in the bathtub.)

I am currently employed as a full-time senior high school teacher. I came to Japan 15 years ago after being laid off from my position as a butler in Bel Air, CA.

I was deported from Japan and returned to America where I was homeless, penniless and in love. Prayed a lot, married, traveled SE Asia and returned to Japan.

Slaved at a small Eikaiwa for 6 months, worked for an intermidiary teaching SR/JHS and then landed my present job.

I am now quite happy where I am, though often stressed and frustrated, and hope to remain until we have enough money to realize my dream in another country as yet undecided.

Currently on vacation. Due to start a new job (teaching) and return to an old job (non-teaching, but English related). Both are overseas.

Having cold feet, thinking of looking for something new (non-teaching, non-English), State-side. If I can do manual labor and communicate in monosyllabic grunts I think I would be happy.

Single and looking. I like long romantic walks along the (heavily polluted) river, dinner at fine road - side establishments of dubious sanitary conditions, followed by laughing at the spasms which pass for dancing at Chinese discos.

Oops, anyway I am currently employed at my first position abroad. Very relaxing, stress - free lifestyle. Not sure where I will go next, but the world is pretty much open, and I'd like to take advantage of that while I can. Hmm, maybe Japan.

Nobody else mentioned it, but I am in my early 20s, and male. Hey, might as well be thorough.

Currently employed at a private high school in Japan. I plan to finish this contract in March, then do one more. In March of 2006 I'll return to the US (probably Boston), renew my teaching credentials and hopefully be working in the public school system by that September. Regardless of what job I get, I plan to be enroll in a Masters program by September 2007.

Currently teaching in a university in Japan and working on my Masters. Plan to be in Japan for at least 2 more years unless I go crazy before then.

Fresh out of grad school (finished in May) and currently employed at a school in Turkey on a one year contract. Wasn't actually looking for a position in this country, but this fell into my lap and it looks like it might be worth sticking around for, at least for two or three years. We'll see if I feel the same after classes have started and I finally face my students.

Employed in China...I never have to look for another job because the employers always seem to find me whether I want them to or not.
