Hello all,
I got to Japan about 2 months ago, and though I am having a great time, I miss playing ball. I know that there are some people down in Akihabara who play, but I am looking for something closer to home. Does anyone know who I can speak with or where I can go in this here fair city of mine?
Thanks |

Skrybe.
What up? Too bad I moved from Urawa. I bought a goal and put it in the park near the crib. We use to play all the time. Had quite a few regulars.
There is a goal under the overpass north of Higash-urawa station. Dirt court and and dank as its under the roadway but nice hoop.
There is also one in Warabi.
I used to run in a city league out of minami-urawa and you could find that in Japanese on the net. Night time stuff.
Plus, check with any city sports facilities and you can meet players at open gym.
Lots of big players run at the Big Box in Takadanobaba regularly.
There are two nice half-courts at Keihin Makuhari station in Chiba.
You are welcome to come out here and run with me and the boys if you want.
I could tell you about other hoops not near you if you like, too.
Also, I have no use for my goal anymore and you are more than welcome to it.
Been playing tennis myself, these days.
