Hi Everyone,
I'm new to this forum so let me give you a bit of backgrouond on me. I'm a 30 yo white m, native English speaker from America. My degree is in business economics, from the University of Ca. at Santa Barbara. I've been working in corporate accounting for a few years.
I've decided that this accounting thing really isn't for me, and so I'm going to do what I've wanted top do for years, teach English overseas. I'm specifically interested in teaching business English in asia, and have almost decided on Korea since it seems to be an easy "in".
So, I've looked at a lot of threads here, and can't seem to find many that address this specialty. Is there anyone here who is teaching business English, or has in the past? I'm wondering what the market is like - more competitive/less competitive? Can I really just show up with no experience, and teach in this area?
Any comments or related experiences would be greatly appreicated.
Thanks,
John |

Then this forum will only give you grief and flames.
Why not go instead to the Teacher Forums on eslcafe.com and find the 'Business English' forum? That's where you should post your questions. |
