Hey Everyone!
I thought I would start a post for people to post games, songs, teaching ideas or anything else Halloween-ish since the spooky holiday is quickly approaching. Any ideas would be awesome, especially those aimed at teaching young children! I look forward to all submissions, and websites which can provide some help to make Halloween fun and memorable for all of our Japanese students!

Hi Steve,
Don't know how old your kids are but I play a Halloween version of Jeopardy. Do you know the game?
Also, you can ask them to come in costume and you all can have a little party where you could play some games, maybe bobbing for apples or maybe a halloween version of who am I using Halloween characters.
If they are old enough I also like to do a listening exercise where I tell them the history of All Hallo's Eve and you could make up a simple worksheet to check or confirm their comprehension.
They love it. Have fun! |

Did you know there was a teachers' forum called activities and games? It was made for this sort of post, and it will cover more than just Japan.
I mention this only because it seems more appropriate to post there, rather than here, an employment forum. |
