No, I'm not black. And I'm not A BANNED MAN ON DAVES'S ' KOREAN ESL FORUM'. . . Yes, I had a hard time in Korea. Who wouldn't? I like to compare things now, since I'm rid of that board.
But some HERE, AND THERE, have suggesteed "I GOT BANNED FROM THE KOREAN FORUM." One on this forum even said "THAT'S ILLUMINATING!." But let me question this, and TAYLOR INCLUDED.
If you're a man of principle. . .No. If you have a Western mindset. . .No.
And if you think there's such a thing as justice. . .Oh no. Take a walk on a Sunday's sweet evening in a Korean park, then stroll home to THE KOREAN BOARD, relate your experience, and get some response. Most likely you'll hear YOU WERE WALKING IN THE WRONG PARK, or, YOU WERE WALKING AT THE WRONG TIME, or maybe you'll get A SLAP ON THE BACK!! Perhaps you'll even get a TAYLOR RESPONSE!!
In other words, NO ONE HAS FIGURED KOREA OUT, INCLUDING RENOWN JOURNALISTS!! Yet you have A GUY ON THAT BOARD NAMED BULSAJO, MARRIED TO A KOREAN GAL, AND A GAL NAME CORPORAL, MARRIED TO A KOREAN GUY, trying to dictate to you what and why! What a joke!
Then you have A BOARD OF OTHER LOSERS, STICKING UP FOR THE MODS, a problem I haven't seen here, meaning a korean board trying to sway WHOEVER and WHATEVER that THE BALL IS IN THEIR COURT! In other words, what I'm saying is that these guys, LIKE TAYLOR, thought the sum and substance of it all was their acclaim! AND CLAIM, to stake their plastic, avatar name, and make everyone else feel so ashamed!
Yes, trace my posts on the Korean board. Find out whether or not I got banned, or if I PURPOSEFULLY TOLD THEM MY PIECE OF MIND, after THE IDIOTS FORMED A CLIQUE, TRYING TO MAKE THOSE WHO DISAGREED A FOOL, just because ONE MAN STATED HIS OWN PIECE OF MIND, and that without end. Yeah, CHECK OUT THIS SPELLING FROM ONE OF THEIR KIND; "WHAT THE F*&^CK DO YOU CARE!!"
Again, what I'm saying is THAT BOARD WAS FULL OF IT!!!

Out and had a few tonight did ya?
As the old saying goes "don't let someone determine what kind of day your going to have"
relax, count to 10 or something. |

I'm not determining anything here. I'm refutting what one man said here, and another from the Korean board, that "TDN was banned from the Korean ESL forum. . .violent."
Most of the people on that board came across as cutthroats. Not that this matters. Their gist is to stick to a certain cligueish, brain-washed mentality, a mentality that can't let anyone state what they think is wrong about Korea! It was almost like a joke, debating some of these people. You'd try to pose a question of doubt, and BANGO, they'd give you the third degree.
For example, I once posed a problem about eating Korean fish. I talked about Koreans eating the bones, I saying the fish were too boney. Then some jackass comes on the board saying "That's the way fish are supposed to be. . . Face up to it MATE!!"
Yet I've been in China for a few months now and never a once heard of someone here eating a fish the size of a five inch perch, bones and all!! I know the little fish are chewable, but to say "SWALLOW HER DOWN, GREAT BLUE HERON" is like telling me to choke on a naktchi without giving a second thought beyone the grave!
Then I met a black men who almost choked at a bulgogi broil with his face-stuffing mother-in-law because the meat contained too much grizzle!
In other words, the Koreans may be able to handle that culinary gumption, but in ordinary, civilized terms, it's damn foolhardy! |
