FYI
I just transferred money from my VN dong account to my Cdn. account from Chohung Vina Bank. It took 2 days, 2 forms and $40 US ($20 at each end). It was relatively painless and easy - the bank was very helpful and all the forms are in English. |

| Did you have to provide any kind of documentation as to payment of Vietnam taxes on the money being converted and transferred? |

| I had to show proof that I had earned the money legally so showed them my contract and one of my salary slips - no one asked about taxes.... |
