So I'm in Thailand at the moment on a short holiday, well a little longer than expected but it's OK.

A friend sent me some job information on positions near Bangkok. I'm not terribly interested in working here, but just interested in the scene. A lot more jobs than I expected. But some of the ads, holy moly, they're worse than Chinglish!! Here's an example, with all employer names withheld, using snippets of the relevant points:

Sad to say, I had to turn this one down:

This gives us hope for the Chinese employers, who make mistakes in their English ads, but not even close to this bad!

i DON'T REALLY HAVE ANY MAJOR PROBLEMS UNDERSTANDING THESE ADS - IN CONTRAST WITH MOST cHINESE ADVERTS.

At the low end of the range, but hardly off the scale.

Wait.

How much is that? 3,000 Baht at 30 Baht for $1AUS.

Now that is....

About $100AUD.

Ummm.... I'm not there!
