NET teaching jobs in Hong Kong can be great or they can be disasters. Much depends on your school Principal. Some teachers get 7 weeks summer holidays while some may only get one or two. Some schools see their NETS as a way of decreasing teacher work loads and try to give as much teaching as possible to the NET.
The contracts ofeten mean very little as Principals decide on how many holidays you get. One NET was recently told by her principal that holidays are for students not teachers. |
