Don't know if I should worry. I'm 23, South African, have a PGCE and Honours in English Lit. I've been emailing my resume to schools now for a month, but have had very little response.
1. Is it too early in the year?
2. Am I going about this wrong?
Why don't they respond? |

Were they advertising for positions, or did you just cold call? The latter rarely works.
Are you in Japan? If not, most places won't respond because you are unavailable for an interview.
Can't really say what your resume or cover letter looks like. Perhaps you should have someone look at it.
Right now is pretty much a dead time for jobs. Perhaps looking after the new year would be better. |

Thanks man. Was responding to job ads but maybe I'll have more luck in January.
Appreciate it. |
