On the Teachers Forum there are some interesting horror stories.
ICT has gone belly up, stranding 18 students.
Global Education Corporationappears to be in trouble.
Another I can't recall or find the name, a training organisation in South America I think has also gone belly up.
I wonder what if any is the common cause?
More competition from universities? Bad managment?

| Possibly the fear of "terrorism" is making people less willing to travel and teach EFL? Just a thought. |

Hmm interesting thought.
Could you be suggesting we need a ESL counter terrorist force to hit back and make an example of those pesky terrorist. |

OK, back to the original point of this topic.
Any other suggestions as to why so many are goign to the wall at the sam time?
Once and Again raised a very good point, just curious of any other factors? Supply and Demand of ESL teachers?
Reduction in demand for ESL teachers due to increase in English media ?
Ok , I am now bored, someone please lven thi thread up.
