Hi, I'm new to the forum. Just wondering if any has had any experience with, or knows anything about, the Witts education centre, Causeway Bay (http://www.witts.edu.hk).
I'm a bit sceptical of the place; it seems they're offering 250 dollars per hour for teachers who do not have TESOL's, and you have to prepare your own curriculums/lesson plans. From looking at their website, it just seems like another flashy-looking, expensive centre that doesn't provide a good service to the students. Is this fair?
Please tell me if you have any info about the place. I'm wondering if it's a good place to work or not?
Thanks, Chris |

Hmm,
Well for the most part, quality is dertermined by the teachers themselves, and supporting resources of the centre.
You might try talking to the staff there, ask to see the resources available, and should they runn Cambridge or Tinity courses, look at their results and compare to the leauge tables.
At the end of the day, if what they offer you won't make you happy, you must decided wether ot not you will work there and wether or not you will give your best to the students. |
