| Can anyone suggest a good place to stay in Fukuoka? Ryokan/hostel/hotel? Looking for something reasonably priced, decent, and close to the action. Thanks! |

| i stayed in a really nice home hostel near the subway, but out of town. it was great and reasonable. check the internet for hostels. fukoka(my spelling) is a great area of kushu (again, my spelling)--lots of beautiful places. |

| dont know if this is too late but the best place i found was the Hyper Hotel near the Akasaka subway station. as a single it was 4800 and if you split with someone it's 5800. good luck |
