I am considering taking the Celta course in either Krakow or Wroclaw next November at the IH. Did anyone out there take the Celta at either of these locations? I'd like to get some feedback concerning both these schools and the course. Would appreciate any help. Thanks. Terry.

I know its not exactly what you want to hear but I did CELTA at IH London and it was first class

I also did CELTA at IH London and have just done a Business English courseat IH Wroclaw. The course itself was excellent as was administrtive support. I had a modern flat to myself for a week costing 300zl and they had no problem with my staying there over the w/e.

It might help you to book your course in advance; a friend of mine wanted to do CELTA at IH Krakow this summer but they were full.

Hi,
Wroclaw has got a great reputation for it's teacher training courses in Poland. Katowice is also excellent. Krakow also does them, but I'm not sure what they're like there, bue i'm sire they're fine too. Generally the IH schools in South Poland are better organised than the others there.

I also did the CELTA at IH London. Great coruse, really loved it, but the ones in Poland are cheaper and the tutors are just as qualified and experienced.

I did my CELTA at IH Krakow and must say it's first-rate. At the time of my phone interview, I was deciding between doing it there and in Prague and was so impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of Magda that I chose Krakow and I've never looked back!

I recommend it whole-heartedly.
