Hi Lajzar...
How much exactly do you want to spend?
200 000 yen a month for a 2DK is a lot... You will easily find something for that money. Just go to any real estate. No problems. |

200,000 yen a month for a 2DK!!?? Not even!
I live in a 2DK and it runs me 63,000 a month. Granted it's in Osaka but it's comparable to Tokyo. Tokyo might run you about 10,000-20,000 yen more a month.
It's also gonna depend on where in Tokyo you'll be wanting to live. |

Speed greatly underestimates prices in Tokyo. My 2LDK in Funabashi, Chiba is just shy of 100,000. In Tokyo, the same apartment would go for about 130,000 to 150,000 and probably require key money. |

I'd say with the exception of a building that should probably be condemned, you won't find a 2DK for less than 120,000. Check out www.nord.co.jp |

I think price is more related to size (square meters) and location than being a 1 or 2 LDK--or whatever.
If you can read Japanese check out isize.com
You can find plenty of places on line --saves a lot of time. The search option lets you refine the search by number of rooms, size and location.
Good luck
