Participants will live with host families or in teachers' living quarters on the school campus (common in Thailand) and receive a monthly stipend of Baht 15,000 (approx. $400.00).
Teaching content will likely be conversational or written English rather than grammar.
Teaching materials and advisory assistance will be provided by host schools, although US participants should prepare informal materials (songs, etc.).
Opportunity to participate in other school activities and AFS volunteer activities such as orientations and meetings.
PROGRAM DATES:

this is a rip. stands to reason its offered by the stingy us govt, thai moe and this 'not for profit' [all monies are paid directly to staff in huge sums].
even with housing someone off the plane will not be able to live off this amount which incidently is not APPROX 400 - it is approx US375! which is not even b4000 a week!!
for the privilage you PAY us500 which fair enough covers your airfare (us850+ -).
this is a nfp racket which makes big money on your labor and your aspirations for wanting to do good in the world.
further the thai moe states one must have a tefl cert, but seems in this program where the moe is getting slave wage teachers they are happy to waive.
most likely youll be posted where they cannot pay to get teachers to work.\, hence the program.
