If you're thinking about joining Wancheng International, do yourself a favor and ask them to give you the e-mail address of any or all of the below-listed former employees. All of these people were among Wancheng's February 2004 recruitment group. Some left Wancheng in February, some left in March, some left in June and some left in July. If working at Wancheng is hassle-free and all these people left the company for their own personal reasons, then Wancheng should not have a problem giving you their e-mail addresses so you can obtain first-hand references.
Alex & Andrew - the 2 young buddies from Canada
Alfred - the Afro-American New Yorker
Bill - the outwardly gay American
Claude - from Cameroon
Daniel - the love-struck New Zealander
Kim - the young lady from Canada
Lindsay - the Australian guy
Mike - the Dutch man
Nadya  the mature Canadian lady
Ralph - from Arkansas
Trent - the long-haired American |

T-lance you still didnt answer my question, who are you and what did they do to you? All the links you posted are all from Mr Lao wai in China bitching about the same thing, not saying that he no basis for his complaining because I personally have met with Simon and other Wancheng employees, I was just wondering what they did to you personally? Or are all those post from you. From the posts I saw and after meeting their recruiter Mike of whom Laowei in China seems to have a personal problem with due to his posts. I have met Simon and other teachers and Mike and didnt see anything wrong with Wancheng or him! So the question again what did they do to you and whats your problem with them?

Mr G
Earlier today (November 25) under the thread titled "Utilities--how much are you paying?", you wrote;
Quote: |
Well I pay 6500 for rent and average around 3-500 for utilities but then again I am not a teacher .... |
So, I am curious as to why you are so interested in this post.
Any person thinking about joining Wancheng is most welcome to PM me with their e-mail address and in reply I will outline the full extent of my knowledge of Wancheng International. |

1) You again didnt answer my question above
2) I personally have met with Simon who used to live 2 blocks away from where I used to live in Vancouver and he has always been up front with me and according to every foreigner in Chongqing that I met they all highly respect him for his personal accomplishments in Chongqing from being pretty much the lowest paid youngest teacher in Chongqing till he took over managing Wancheng, Wancheng did have many skeletons in their closet before Simon came, he turned Wancheng around from having 6 teachers and 1 office to hitting over 40 foreign teachers and 4 offices and as of next term they are going to have 6 offices and almost 100 foreigners, if you look on the internet the only person barking like a Pekinese dog is that Lao wai in China person.
3) So like I asked you before what did wancheng do to you, and why do you keep posting the same old shi*t and not saying any facts.
4) As for that Lao wei in China character he keeps posting things on the internet and has not done anything except for blow a lot of hot air, Simon has told me that if he doesnt stop his pathetic game then hes going to take legal action against him, not that it makes any difference to me but if you have any new light to shed I will gladly slap Simon for youlol |

Mr G,
I don't mind keeping this thread going indefinitely (although at some point Dave may become concerned that his bandwidth is being wasted); it serves as an alert to all prospective Wancheng employees that they should conduct thorough enquiries before signing on with Wancheng.
In fact, isnt that basically what you wrote on May 11;
Quote: |
Its always smart to get as much info as you can before arriving. |
For example, anyone can check my history of posts and see that I have started 4 threads about Wancheng, so it is clear that I am anti-Wancheng. They can also check your history of posts and see that you have recommended Wancheng on 4 occasions and you have criticized Wanchengs (Chongqing) competitors (CUFLI, Pernergy, Golden, English First, & AES) on at least 6 occasions.
Readers can judge for themselves the veracity of my posts, your posts and any other posts about Wancheng, and every other school for that matter.
My original advice on this thread was that any person thinking about joining Wancheng should ask the company to put them in contact with former Wancheng employees so that they (any person thinking about joining Wancheng) can obtain a first-hand account of what its like working for the company.
Thats not derogatory towards Wancheng; in fact, its sound advice for prospective employees of any school, wouldnt you agree?
But, then again, perhaps youre not so teacher-friendly, viz-a-viz;

Again u didnt answer the 1 question I asked you but its not important. Just please dont waste our time beating around the bush posting your little campaign if they didnt actually do anything to you. Anyhow have a great day |

Well Mr G, your entitled to express your preference, and I'm entitled to ignore it.
And, once again, for anyone thinking about joining Wancheng, investigate, investigate, investigate! |

1 quick question that I thought bring upyou, I talked to Simon last night and he told me something funny all of the negative posts about Wancheng from laowei in China, Lindsay, T_Lanc, Trevor, A.J., and few other posts that discredit Wancheng all come from the same ip address..do you have a split personality problem?...lol Well Mr G, your entitled to express your preference, and I'm entitled to ignore it. lol do you occasionally ignore your other personalities? |
