Has anyone else had a problem with someone sending a virus through different e-mail addys? Since I registered with this place I've recieved nearly 20 infected messages a day in e-mail . Today, this "P@MM version" is the third type of virus. Norton catches it so none have made it through but this is irritating. I performed a search and see that this has happened before on this site. I don't know if this virus and its owner originates from here but this is the only place I've registered in a couple of months. Anyone else have this problem?

| Most of the world has the same problem...not related to this site in particular. Your email addy was probably harvested from this thread, or you yourself could have the virus...probably Netsky. |

Again, I'm not saying this virus is related to this site. What I'm saying is, if the rest of the world has this problem, it didn't become mine until soon after I registered with this site. My reason for asking those who have registered recently, like myself, was to see if the problem is shared among us or specific to me. Also, my addy was never public and the virus runs the strain of beagle not netsky.

I dunno...since I post on many sites, and have had to contend with several virii, I can't really say it came from here. Again, it seems that auto email addy harvesters do a lot as well.
Did you check on spyware on your system? Could be the Dave's cookie is messed up. |

Your email is not in this thread and cannot be harvested from it. I've been on Daves for a long time, both Korean and this forum and never had a problem. I'm in the sicko trojan virus capital of the world and haven't had a virus email for donkeys. I think this was just a coincidence in terms of timing.
Try to keep a couple of email accounts just for registering with stuff and a private one that is really private. Give out the trashy ones when you need to but never put your other one online.
