I just picked up my passport with my 60 day visitor's visa from Ottawa. On the visa, there are two stamps:

1) no extension will be granted,

2) the holder of this visa shall not be permitted to assume unapproved employment in the ROC.

I read in the TECO website that it is possible to have no such remark as 'no extension will be granted'.

Just wondering if these stamps are standard and if it will affect my application for a work permit. Since an extension cannot be granted, will there be sufficient time to process my work permit?

Thanks to whoever can help me out. I'm excited. I'll be leaving in less than two months!!!

Make sure you bring your degree. Two months is long enough to get everything taken care of. The 'no extension' stamp will not affect the process.
