Yebo Folks

I have been hunting the forum jungle desperately in search of the address for the Visa office in Hong Kong . I will be spending a night in Hong Kong specifically so that i can have time to get my 60 day visa for Taiwan. It would be a waste of time if it took me a day to find the place (i'm told Hkg Kng is a big place)

Please please please can somebody help me here. If you have a bus number to catch or any useful tips on getting there i would be eternally grateful.

Ta

Really easy to get to. Take the train from the airport (buy a day pass or a multi day pass for public transit as they can be used on the MRT, city buses and the Star Ferry) to the MRT center and then get on the MRT to Admiralty Station. Get off, walk up to street level through Admiralty Centre. You can't miss the Lippo Centre, as it has tall twin towers that are of an interesting shape (protrusions every where) and they are covered with an amber/gold coloured glass. You take the elavator in Tower One to the 40th floor and go to Chung Hwa Travel Service. There is a really good sandwich shop on the main level, called Oscars I believe, and Pacific Place shopping mall is just across Queensway. Central Park is just an escalator or two from here if you are interested. Hong Kong was always a breath of fresh air for me, metaphorically speaking, after the chaos of Kaohsiung. Wink
