I wish I could, bud. But JALT membership fees are too high for me right now, and the conference fees are too expensive as well.
Plus, the cost of travelling, eating and staying in Nara are prohibitive.
Sorry. Maybe next year it'll be closer to home.

P.S. Although I agree, I really wouldn't mind meeting some of the people I've gotten to know here. Maybe a Dave's ESL Conference in Tokyo sometime.... If anyone would ever be up for something like that (even if there's only but a few of us) let me know. My wife and I make regular trips to Tokyo (about once a month -- maybe a little less nowadays). |

I will be going, probably Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Will be hooking up with Gordon as well. |
