I'm thinking about teaching in Romania instead of Russia (Moscow) now. I don't need any money, but it would be nice to get a little money and an apartment from a school there. I have a degree and experience teaching English, but no TEFL cert. Has anyone taught there, and could you give me some info on the TEFL scene in Bucharest?
Thank you and happy tefl'ing. |

Try one of the universities. Constanta, Iasi, Cluj etc. I like the smaller cities more than Bucharest. Life can be quite tough. Useful if you speak other languages. English is not as widespread as in W Europe. Russian, German, French or Italian will vastly increase your network. Russian too but I am not sure now how Russian will be received. |
