| If a foreign person working in Mexico were to take sick and have to go to the IMSS to collect the seguro social until they were able to return to work how could this affect their fm-3/2 if they had to renew it during the time they were on the seguro social?? |

| Immigration has no communication with the IMSS. They wouldn't even know that you were on sick leave unless you told them. You do; however, need to submit a letter from your employer stating that you continue to work for them. |
